We, at Folioplanet, wish everyone a relaxing Thanksgiving. Randi Zafman expresses a beautiful sentiment appropriate for the holiday.

Jean Tuttle has a great sense of humor and it’s evident in her personal piece originally created as a faux New Yorker cover for a “Blown Covers” competition. The image got some deserved notice and was selected as a winning image in American Illustration 32.
Illustrated in part because of her sympathy for the turkey, her illustration cleverly shows that not everyone is happy to join in on the Thanksgiving Festivites. While the turkey is clearly bucking for a Presidential “Pardon”, we doubt that kind of behavior will keep him off the menu.
